Ricky Catter Has been in the entertainment business for over 24 years and has appeared in over 100 National and local commercials for Center Point Energy, Lipton, Toyota, Arnold and Itkin, Commute Solutions, Wal-Mart, HEB, Home Depot, Casa Ole, Drive Time, Popeye's, Du Good Credit Union and many more. He has also appeared in principal roles on Films and TV shows such as NCIS: New Orleans,MacGyver ,Prison BreakBarracuda ,The Good Guys, Chase ,Houston , From Dusk Till Dawn:The Series where he played the role of Abelardo Bustamante, American Crime on ABC, where he played Al Sanchez, as Anthony in the TV series Queen of the South, as Philip Carvel in the web series, Freedom on Trial and most recently as Ernesto in the film Rich Kids. In addition he has toured with The National Theater For Children on shows like Romeo and Juliet, and Louie Louie. He has performed on many stages from The Kraine Theatre in New York City to The Actors Group Theatre in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ricky Catter is also a successful writer (under the name Eleazar Catter), for the stage and screen. His play Acting Whore premiered to rave reviews and was later adapted to a screenplay that became an official finalist at The Gulf Coast Film Festival in 2009 and his play The Poets, which premiered in 2012, won him critical acclaim among critics. He has a passion for the art of acting and enjoys taking time with his students, while at the same time teaching them the necessary techniques to survive and have longevity in the business.
